Working with Tryton is the first book of its kind – a book for users showing how to transform their business using Tryton in clear non-technical language with real-world business examples.
Working with Tryton is divided into three parts for convenient reference:
- Part 1 – Basic Operations – setting up a new Tryton site, performing basic selling and purchasing workflows, financial reporting and configuring users.
- Part 2 – Advanced Operations – covers manufacturing, automated purchasing, using projects, customer relationship management (CRM) and dashboards.
- Part 3 – Special Topics – stand-alone chapters covering a variety of topics, such as customizing documents and workflows, product lifecycle management (PLM) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), warehouse management and inventory control, using Tryton for quality control, serialization, electronic documents, importing data (e.g. if migrating from another system), and more.
This free on-line edition of Working with Tryton is a work-in-process and Part 1 will be available soon, as will Parts 2 and 3. In addition to providing you with advanced access to valuable information, you are encouraged to leave comments for the benefit of others – to clarify something that I didn’t make clear enough, describe personal experience – pro or con, or report an error that occurred despite my best efforts. Every comment is sincerely appreciated and will be used to improve Working with Tryton.
When complete, Working with Tryton will be available in softcover for purchase. Be assured though that this free on-line version will remain available.
